Pros
I used WMrecorder and RMrecorder for several months and I'm very satisfied with it.
Both WM and RM recorder 10.2 are working fine. I can catch both audio and video in PRO mode. The only thing you need to check is that you use the right recorder, realmedia or windows media
Sometimes you need to remove temp files before start recorder.
You sometimes need to do postprocessing in WMr to get the time scale in both it is very easy, just click on PLAY, the monitor window comes up , then make a copy of the file then click SEEKABLE and the is ok. (The file becomes slightly smaller).
You can very easy split and merge files as well.
I'm not a computer person so I have to test and try several times and take it in small steps, but I think it was easy with a little help from the helpdesk (delet temp files) and read some basics in the instruction file.
I can recommend it.

Record and listen to a video like Since U Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson on WM Recorder and the best Audio Recorder you can find, you will appreciate the very high quality wmv audio. If you want to listen to CD quality recordings through WMP this is an excellent product.
Cons
The program is pricey and about as basic as you get, but it makes the highest quality recordings I have found.

Pros
Stable under WinXP, and the one-click recording is really handy once you get used to it. The bundle (including a RealMedia recorder and VCR) is great value too, at less than twice the price of the single program.
Cons
Would like to see the help files bundled with the download, and PLEASE update the list of TV stations in the VCR. Many aren't up anymore.

This software fails 9 of 10 times ! Really unefficient...i wonder what kinda language can understand ! Fails connectin' & never get URL . It will save nothing...& i suggest u save your money !

No Pros that I could see. Downloaded it and it popped up a Phishing window for my password

Popped up a window with my accurate username. Claimed my "session had ended" and that I needed to re-enter my password. Scary!

The program is great epecialy because it lets me download videos from myspace and launch its really worth it unless there is another program that does it cheaper...

Pros
Very reliable especially when many programs are symultaneously recorded or when I'm recording my password accessed site. The recordings are often better than the originals. On my connection I cannot usually play a video without interruptions even though my DSL company tells me that I have a 3 Mbps connection. So, I record and then watch the recording. I also like the automatic recording when the program records everything I play wihout the need to hit a button.

i dont like it always buggs me... but u can stopp it with any antispyware. and the grafix are not 'that good' they are but not that much... everthin else is fine!!!

This works like a charm. I tried the demo and it worked perfectly so I bought not only this program but the two other companion programs. It recorded two hours of streaming video for me last night, about 40 mb worth. Then I used Windows Media Technologies' free Windows Media Encoder to edit the file down to what I wanted to save. Windows Media Encoder can be used to record .wmv as screen captures, but THIS product records the stream itself. Very cool!

You have to pay $30 to record streaming file's to WMV only...
Trial version say's 2 minute when it only record's like ten seconds.
If you want to record streaming music/video's to ANY format, try Net Transport, it ROCKS!! and it's totally free, with no time limit!!!!!!!!! I found this WAY after using WM Recorder, and it works just as good
