W32.Sobig.F@mm is a mass-mailing, network-aware worm that sends itself to all the email addresses it finds in the files that have the following extensions: .dbx, .eml, .hlp, .htm, .html, .mht, .wab, .txt. If your computer has been infected by W32.Sobig.F@mm, you can get it off with this removal tool. The tool will terminate the W32.Sobig.F@mm viral processes, delete the W32.Sobig.F@mm files, delete the dropped files, and delete the registry values that the worm added.

I was hopeful that this would work, but it would not completely download. I have a severe problem with this stupid worm, as it had hijacked my email and send crap to hundreds in my email address book. NOT HAPPY JAN!
If anyone know of a WORKING and PROVEN solution, please email me.

I hopefully ran this program from Symantic. But my (cable modem) Internet connect is still the pits, and I'm still getting emails like, "The Declude Virus software on magicnet.mn has reported that you

It's very slick, but the program hasn't done the job for me. -

"Fails halfway thru - does not fix problem"

Stops with an error halfway through. When I try to move the window to see where it failed, the covered area is not redrawn. I have been paying Symantec to protect me from viruses, etc. Symantec failed to protect me from this one and now fails in its promise to redeem itself by at least removing it. This is my last Windows machine - my next will be an Apple.
