Pros
I dont's have to download proprietary drivers and clutter my Dock with a bunch a bunch of scan and picture managing junk that I won't use.
Cons
Instructions could be a little clearer on doing multiple page scans.
Summary
I never have to worry about using a friend's scanner; it always works.
