This tiny utility offers a simple way to toggle between screen resolutions, without going into Windows' Display Properties function. This can be an attractive notion for people who are watching online movies or playing games that are designed for lower resolutions. The software also can restore the arrangement of icons on the desktop, if this is changed by the resolution shift.

However, the software showed some serious bugs in our tests, displaying only a portion of the screen after we tried switching resolution. With this in mind, we'd recommend avoiding the download until the bugs have been fixed.

VividSwitcher Unicode is a novel software for changing screen resolution without altering position of desktop icons. While you are watching online movies, it can change resolutions and gamma amounts temporarily to bring the best experience of a nicer and clearer movie, and then restore back to the original setting as you like. Version 3.0.0.1 has added a Saver Blocker.
