Visual Similarity Duplicate Image Finder offers people a chance to seek out duplicate photos and clear some space on their hard drive. With extremely simple controls, this program excels in all the right places.
The program's interface is surprisingly simple considering the complex task it performs. Users can easily navigate through photo folders, select settings for the search, and begin finding duplicates with the simple click of a few buttons. The program also offers a Help file for people who may have questions about this basic setup. Users must know where their photos and possible duplicates are stored, as this program doesn't search the entire hard drive, but rather only selected photos. While this was slightly annoying, once this process begins, it quickly seeks out all the possible dupes, lists them, and allows users to view them side-by-side to decide whether or not to delete the shots. One important note, deleting pictures is disabled on the trial version of this program.
The Image Finder's features were very basic and geared toward making your experience with the program better. Users can tweak what qualities the program searches for with a few simple check boxes. This program is a great tool for clearing computer space. Anyone who is concerned about duplicate photos will have a simple time erasing duplicates thanks to this fantastic download.

Visual Similarity Duplicate Image Finder's main goal is to help you to find fast all similar and duplicate images in a folder and its sub folders. Visual Similarity Duplicate Image Finder uses advanced algorithms to find similar images in a way that a human does. Due to that fact it can find similar images even if they are in different image formats, different bit depth and image sizes. You can specify a percent of image similarity that will be used during the scan. Using the similarity percentage level you can broaden your results or you can specify exact match varying only in image format and/or size. When the scan process is finished the program shows you all images with duplicates and can automatically mark the smaller resolution and/or smaller file size images for deletion. "The only Duplicate finder that has the feature I want"

This duplicate image finder does not only identify identical photos it could also recognizes photos that are similar but with different sizes, colors and effects. (Read the summery)

Summary
I downloaded about 10 of the most popular duplicate finder software to see which one could not only find duplicates but to see which one could actually detect the same photos that are similar but with different (sizes, colors and effects). This Duplicate finder software is very impressive because it could actually show you a percentage of how close the photos are comparing to one another; it gives you the option from 100% down to 30% similarity before it scans the photos. I had 22 original photos in one folder and its copy with different (sizes, colors and effects) on the other folder. Out of 22 photos it managed to find 16, which is impressive because other duplicate finder softwares failed miserably.
This Duplicate Photo Finder is very good because it found all the duplicates but for my similar photo test it only found 16/22.

This Duplicate image Finder software was not bad. I have tested this software with over 7 other Duplicate image finder softwares on download.cnet.com and I give this software 3 stars because other software which were free tested a little better in terms of convenience, user friendliness, features and accuracy. In my opinion the freeware "Awesome Duplicate Photo Finder " and " Duplicate Photo Finder "(not free) tested better than this software. Based on my tests this software did a worsen job comparing to some "Duplicate image Finders" which were free. That was very shocking.
I gave this software 3 stars not 4 stars because other softwares that were free tested a little better in terms of convenience, user friendliness, features and accuracy. In my opinion the "Duplicate Photo Finder "(not free) and freeware "Awesome Duplicate Photo Finder" tested better than this software so why pay when you could get a (((Better))) software like "Awesome Duplicate Photo Finder" for free?????? -
