From MindGems :Visual Similarity Duplicate Image Finder's main goal is to help you find fast all similar and duplicate images in a folder and its sub folders. Visual Similarity Duplicate Image Finder uses advanced algorithms to find similar images in a way that a human does. Due to that fact that it can find similar images even if they are in different image formats, different bit depth and image sizes. You can specify a percent of image similarity that will be used. Version 1.6.0.1 You can now save/load projects (scan results) Added option to auto mark duplicates with smaller file sizes regardless of their dimensions Added option to detect negative duplicates You can sort the duplicate list by columns Duplicate files creation date/time is shown in the duplicates list Image similarity (%) is shown in the duplicates list Added resize method popup menu in the duplicate preview windows. Version 1.7.0.1 may include non-visual methods for comparing images by MD5 hash, CRC32 checksum and file size. Added option to select folder in which you can move the duplicate files. Added comparing method combobox and similarity spin edit in the toolbar. Added windows explorer shell integration for .vsd files. Added Default Settings button in the options dialog. The first duplicate in group is marked with F after the checkbox. Keyboard shortcut U unchecks all duplicates in the current group. Keyboard shortcut I shows the visual compare preview window. With double click or with popup menu in the folders list you can include/exclude folder from automarking duplicates in it. Fixed an issue not closing the file handle on manual stop of the scanning process.

Version: Visual Similarity Duplicate Image Finder 1.7
Pros: The program does exactly what it says it will, and does so very quickly. I downloaded multiple programs before buying this one. This is the only one that worked with large numbers of images (over 50,000 and over 5GB).
Main pros:
- support for most image files, including .tif and jpeg 2000
- visual preview prior to deleting
- multiple methods of finding duplicate images
- scans more than one folder at a time
- free updates
Advice:
- if you have large files or large numbers of files, use the crc32 checksum comparison first.
- the visual comparison is more accurate, but far slower (not the program's fault).
- for monochromatic images, set the visual comparison to 98%; for color images the default 95% works well.
Cons: Only one major con:
- I use iTunes extensively, and have experienced some problems when running both programs simultaneously.
a) If you watch video in full-screen mode, you may 'lose' your taskbar when you switch to music or window mode for video. Solution: don't minimize this program (it goes to the systray and you can't alt + tab to find it).
b) Sometimes iTunes will crash, but I've not had any problems with files that were playing when it did or restarting iTunes.
c) I only use iTunes/QuickTime, so I don't know if this problem exists with other media players.
Minor:
- It doesn't support proprietary formats (e.g. .psd, .dng, 'raw'), but, if it did, I imagaine the price would be much higher

"This find s out your duplicate files in very short span of time"
Pros: It's speed is excellent
Moreover it asks us how much percent similarity the duplicate image should
