From Serious Magic :Visual Communicator enables anyone to easily create video presentations in minutes. Unlike other video creation tools, Visual Communicator doesn't require special equipment or training to use. It works at a desk with any webcam or camcorder and is based on a simple wizard with dozens of templates that completely eliminate time-consuming video editing. With news-style graphics, a built-in teleprompter, and green screen effects for background replacement, users create video projects that look as if they were made inside a network television studio. When videos are completed, they can quickly be published to share via websites, email, and CDs/DVDs. Version 2 introduces flexible recording and real-time editing to enhance the ease of the video creation process.

Version: Visual Communicator 2
"It WAS good, but now it's Adobe."
Pros: I used this version for a few years. It works well, does what it claims, and is esy to use. The resulting videos are smooth and look great.The software USED to be relatively cheap at $189 and you USED to get support from Serious Magic.
Cons: It's way over priced now -- Adobe bought Serious Magic and now owns Visual Communicator. Now it's $399, i.e., more than twice as expensive, and from their web page, has essentially the same capability. As Adobe usually does, it adds a few small features, fixes a couple of bugs, and then offers an "upgrade" for $149. So if you paid $189 for version 2, you can "upgrade" for only $149. And you get the usual additional bugs and poor support tossed in for free! Welcome to Adobe. For $400 you'd be better off getting a full video editing suite to get more control and variety in your videos.

"A Broadcast Studio in a box!"
Pros: A very nice approach to movie making. Never had thought of that! Takes a little time to understand. Serious Magic explans it well! I really think you should give a go. I'm Buying it!

"once the basics are sussed the rest is genius"
Pros: a new approach, hard to handle at first but it really works. Havent registered yet and these are my first thoughts. Registration seems to have a big bag to offer.
Cons: not easy to get used to at first but the world was once flat

Cons: I still don't know how you delete just one thing and it is quite hard to use

Pros: Amazing, powerfull and yes easy to use (if you read the manual!) complete TV studio in a box
Cons: It may take a little time to learn to use, but it's easy if you read the manual.
