Pros: A simple yet effective way to enhance Vista's own firewall and stop outgoing insecurity. Doesn't hog your system resource or block anything you need (such as p2p traffic). Gives you four simple choices of protection for all recognisable programmes requiring internet access. Simple and straightforward to use. It's free!

Pros: it does the job.. very simple and effective, can be use to reinforce the vista firewall, or be used on its own. Configuration is easy and works well on vista.
Cons: it is not for the special effects and graphic lovers!!

"Finally A Firewall That Wasn't Rejected and Is Learning My System"
Pros: Every firewall I've tried with the new Vista system has bombed. The program has installed perfectly and the directions for using it is straightforwards. Think I'm going to really love this program. Very happy with it so far.
Cons: At this point, nothing. However I will keep looking

"Excellent firewall solution for Vista users"
Pros: I've been using the Sphinx Vista Firewall Control on my Vista x64 machine for the past 6 months. In a nutshell, this product integrates with the default Vista firewall and offers additional functionality such as outbound traffic protection and blocking. I have been very pleased with this product (very stable and good protection) and I highly recommend it. Their support team is also very responsive.
Cons: The initial releases (v1.0.1.1) had a few minor glitches that I reported to the development team and they had the issues fixed in the next release. Two thumbs up!

"Very sloppy user interface, new ver 1.2 does not install properly"
Pros: What's good is that it is free and very small install size(when on dial-up).
Cons: The user interface is almost non-existant. For example, Help-about does not even state what ver is running. You must go find the installed .exe to find out the version number.
The interface does not show anything about what is rejected. It only shows what is enabled or disabled.
The latest version, 1.2, will not install properly on my Vista machine and has almost destroyed my other running applications.
I would not pay good money for this knowing how the free version operates.
