Publisher's description
From Ozone :VisiPics does more than look for identical files. It applies four image comparison filters in order to measure how close pairs of images on the hard drive are. It will detect two different resolution files of the same picture as a duplicate, or the same picture saved in different formats, or duplicates where only minor cosmetic changes have taken place. All detected duplicates are shown side by side with pertinent information like file name, type and size displayed. Uses Hyperthreading or Multi-processors systems. Highly efficient results with adjustable similarity levels. Easy to use interface, preview your duplicates easily and pick the ones to delete with a simple click. Starts to display the results while scanning, you don't have to wait to delete your duplicates.

"Does exactly what it says ... and well!"
Pros: Small download and easy installation -
Quick to run through LARGE folders with lots of images. -
Easy to use
Cons: Lacking documentation - but easy to use anyway.

"Hidden behind its interface, it's a useful program"
Pros: Work well, somes good idea (like the preview on the mouseover), the autoselect. The good fiability (it never crashed yet), and the possibility to choose the detection level. The interface's simplicity.
Cons: The interface. The impossibility to simply paste the path (the paths selector look like a old w3.1's component!) : A restart of this program is needed to be able to reach new mounted disks.

"Simple but not sufficiently efficient. Needs improvements."
Pros: It is free and simple to use.
Cons: Even with the "loose" setting, does not detect duplicate jpeg files with not so large differences.
