From Vinta Software :VintaSoftTwain.NET Library will help you to control scanners, digital or web cameras or any other TWAIN devices. You can fully control the image acquisition process, use the automatic document feeder, save acquired images to disk, SQL server or upload them to the server as BMP, JPEG, PNG, GIF, or TIFF files. This library is a pure .NET library and it can be used in any environment compatible with .NET Framework. Library was tested and has examples of use in: MS VB.NET, MS VC#.NET, Borland Delphi 8.0, Borland C# Builder, and ASP.NET.
Version 1.3 adds functions for image processing: despeckle, border detection, rotation; ability to acquire images with bit depth more than 8 bit (16 bit gray images and 48 bit color images); library now is fully compatible with .NET Framework 1.0, 1.1 and 2.0.
