This video-conversion application will appeal to those who value convenience. Videozilla's interface is atypical for this type of software but is nonetheless convenient. Clicking the program's desktop shortcut leads you to an instructional screen, though you'll also find an icon for accessing the settings. Instead of providing you with a main window for browsing your PC and adding video clips, Videozilla works via the Windows Context menu. By right-clicking a video file you can select options for converting it to AVI, WMV, RM, MPEG, MP3, Flash, or WAV format. The Settings menu lets you adjust your output files by tweaking their frame rates, bit rates, and sizes. You'll also find a feature for extracting a section of the video, but you only can set one pair of cut points, and you have to enter them blindfolded, since the preview screen doesn't show up until you start the conversion process. It is nice, however, that the program provides a basic yet attractive player. If you routinely transform many video clips, we'd guess you'll appreciate this utility's ease of use.Publisher's description

Version: Videozilla 2.3
"Okay, but with quirks, flaws"
Pros: This is a convenient program, and will make nice files--and there are a lot of settings to choose from, along with the most popular file formats. I especially like the RealVideo support.
Cons: Some of the time the program mysteriously messes up the aspect ratio (frame size or dimensions). The original file was 640x360 (16:9) but the output file is smaller and more "squashed" (everyone looks a little fat). Such distortion is unacceptable and the files are absolutely unusable.
When it doesn't mess up the aspect ratio, it works fine. (Interesting quirk: Files that were "squashed" when converted to MPEG looked fine in RealVideo.)

Version: Videozilla 2.3
"It must not be the same product the editor used"
Pros: Nothing
Cons: It doesn't work. They don't respond to questions. It is rubbish and a waste of my money.

Version: Videozilla 2.3
"didn't even work once, much less nine times"
Pros: nothing at all
Cons: trial did not even work one time - right clicked a file to use the software, went to use it and it says you have to buy it. if they can't make the trial work how is the product even going to work - dont waste your time on this piece of crap
