This video-conversion application is mostly easy to use, although some of its tools could use some work. Videozilla's interface is atypical for this type of software but is nonetheless convenient. Clicking the program's desktop shortcut leads you to an instructional screen, though you'll also find an icon for accessing the settings. Instead of providing you with a main window for browsing your PC and adding video clips, Videozilla works via the Windows Context menu. Right-clicking a video file will give you options for converting it into AVI, WMV, RM, MPEG, MP3, or WAV format. This menu also lets you adjust your output files by tweaking their frame rates, bit rates, and sizes. You will find a feature that extracts only certain parts of the video, but you have to enter your cut points as percentages. We prefer the ability to set extraction points with a slider, although it is nice the program now provides a basic yet attractive player. We're glad to say the developer has cleared up the performance problems we noted in the past; all of Videozilla's tools now work just fine. If you routinely transform many video clips, we'd guess you'll appreciate this application's ease of use.Publisher's description
