Video Viewer is a viewer for all QuickTime compatible live video sources like webcams, DV cameras, or Firewire DV adaptors. Video can be viewed in a window, fullscreen, on top of the currently frontmost application, and even on the desktop. Video Viewer can copy a still image to the clipboard and allows you to drag still images out of the video window onto the desktop or directly into documents of other applications like TextEdit or Mail.

What's new in this version:

  • much easier to use video and sound settings dialog
  • always on top window can now be transparent and clicked through
  • it is now possible to play video on the desktop
