Version: Video Edit Master 1.8
Pros: Easy to download and open - online info helped me figure it out so I was able to edit my video fairly easily.
Cons: Everything seemed fine until I tried to save my edited video. I got an error message which some other posters mentioned - I did what the author suggested but still couldn't save my video so the software did not work for me....

Version: Video Edit Master 1.8

Cons: Wouldn't install

Version: Video Edit Master 1.8
Pros: It does the job with a minimum of fuss.
Cons: A manual or at least a short set of instructions would be handy. Still, it only took 5 minutes or so to figure out, so it's not difficult. Several buttons need desciption of what they do.
Summary: It works well for pasting together segments of large AVI files. (Didn't try it with other filetypes.) I used it to remove the 20 minute "pledge breaks" that public broadcasting puts into their programs for one of my folks' recordings.

"Fantastic for cutting out the best bits of your video"
Pros: Easy to use, Fast, Great Results, make 1 video from the best bits of more than 1 video and oh yeh may i remind you it's free!!
Cons: Be great to re-arrange the segments after spending so long analysing your footage and cutting out lots of segments.
Summary: There's plenty of free licence graphics out there so there's no excuse really why it should look so dull, but saying that i'd rather it work properly than look good. Also it's easy to use, but it could of been simple to use with a little more common... read more >>
