This video-editing software gives you high-end features with simple elegance. The application has a drag-and-drop interface that makes it easy to capture video footage onto the editing time line and assemble a movie in mere minutes. Then you can add professional scene transitions, some background music, and a couple of title effects, and get ready to show the world your finished masterpiece. You can even edit and combine popular file formats including AVI, WMV, ASF, MPEG, and JPEG, all on the same time line. Video Edit Magic supports the ability to make movies in MPEG formats, which is required for creating VCDs, SVCDs, and DVDs. You also can create QuickTime and digital video AVI output formats. Movies can be made in both NTSC as well as PAL standards.

Version 4.24 now allows to use any Movie Maker Add-on Effects or any DirectX Add-on Effects pack.

"not very user friendly"

Cons: the readme doesnt say much and to guess from the interface just irritated me
