Version: Vegas Movie Studio+DVD Platinum 6.0a

"User friendly, semi-pro edit effects, but slow save."

Pros: Menu easy to use, multipanels allow direct multitasking, diverse editing effects (color corrector is outstandingly semi-pro)-- overall, it is capable to do more than regular home editing.

Cons: Trial version can only do avi and wmv, no slow motion, no frame-by-frame, aspect ratio is 1.5 instead of 1.33, and very slow in saving file (over half hr to save 50MB).

Version: Vegas Movie Studio+DVD Platinum 6.0a

"Trial version will not open mpeg video files!"

Pros: None for me!

Cons: Would not capture video with my USB TV Tuner D'Link DUB-T210. Trial version will not open mpeg video files.
