From Incendo Technology :Vectir is an audio visual application that lets you control popular media or MP3 players such as Winamp, iTunes and Windows Media Player with an infrared (IR) remote control. It can also control other features of your operating system such as moving the mouse pointer, adjusting the master sound volume and shutting down your computer. It works with USB infrared receiver/transmitter devices such as the USBUIRT and Tira-2. These devices can receive signals from almost all household infrared (IR) remote controls. They can also capture enough information about IR signals that they can be re-transmitted. This means you can also use your PC as a universal remote control and send infrared (IR) signals to control your TV, DVD player etc.
