"tremendously helpful and most useful"
Pros: I can type 70 wpm in English and this helps me to type in malayalam in the same speed even when I don't know malayalam typing. A big leap.
Cons: You have to find out and install malayalam fonts separately unless when you are not able to work. There should be some way to circumvent this.

"Good software for Malayalam langauge"
Pros: It is a good software, where it can be used for both ttf as well as unicode fonts.
Cons: the unicode opens in a separate HTML file, that doesn't seem to be a good option.
