Version: VSO ConvertXtoDVD 3.1.3.4
"Good program, but trial is useless."
Pros: I have the full version and it works great. My friend recommended it and I love it. A simple way to burning my favorite movies without the other interferences.
Cons: If you are planning to "TRY" the product, it's going to be so stupid.
Summary: This is one of those programs who credit themselves for everything. So if you really want to waste a DVD and see if this program actually burn your movies, you'd waste your time, the trial version leaves watermarks and it nags you to buy when you cl... read more >>

Version: VSO ConvertXtoDVD 3.1.3.4
Pros: I purchased this in preference to several free packages (and even one commercial package, Power DVD Burning Studio), because this makes it easy to insert subtitles into a DVD. ConvertXtoDVD is easy to use, and it does exactly what I want from it. I haven't experimented with the 30 templates yet.
Cons: I have been using this for 10 months, and have not had any problems.

"play back is about like a disk rubbed w/ sandpaper"
Pros: all features advertised are present
Cons: to pickey abouit disks, slow to convert, and playback sucks. my DVD player is in excellent shape and it can only get about half way through an eposode then:disk error. the full version may be better, but the free one: you get what you pay for.
Summary: it bites of more then it can chew, the burn sppeed must be rock bottom and the files must be drasticly less then the disk should hold forit to work well. howeer it dose have a uniqu and very usfell disk menu on playback in a DVD player
