This video converter supports most popular formats (including: DivX, Xvid, MOV, VOB, Mpeg, Mpeg4, AVI, WMV, DV) and supports subtitles too. The aspect ratio can be selected according to your choice for NTSC or PAL. You can create chapters at your preferred interval of time, control burning speeds, and add original source files to the DVD.
Version 2.1.4.162 has an updated engine and can convert to DVD more formats such MKV and Real Video.

Version: VSO ConvertXtoDVD 2.1.4
Pros: This is the best convert to dvd product out there. It converts all formats to dvd with a custom convert to specify how often to add a chapter, subtitles, and much more.
Cons: none, get the full version by paying for it, it will be the best money you have ever spent on a program. You will not be disappointed.

"I've tried them all... This is the best... see review."
Pros: I've tried them all... GNUs, purchased products, Nero, WinDVD, etc. This is absolutely the best and easiest. The latest version 2.1.5 has special features like converting a PAL DVD to a NTSC DVD. Some say it's slow, however, I found that it is faster than any other software out there. However, you must realize that the trial version is not fast. I purchased the product and am TOTALLY SATISFIED. And the price is much lower than other comparable products. One other thing is that it doesn't add a lot of nebulous things on your PC like Nero does.
Cons: One needs to remember to open the tools and review every tab to make sure the program will do what you want. The choices are simple and straight forward.

Pros: There may be better ways to do this, but I'm kind of a newbie to video. Used TiVo's Desktop Plus to get TiVo files to MPEG4 and I am now using this product to move the MPEG4 to DVD. This product is straight forward and fast. I tried Nero's Vision product but got an error when it tried to read the MPEG4 file. Bad review on CNET scared me away from AVS.
Cons: Not sexy, but very functional.
