Version: VMware Workstation 5.0
Pros: It's a very well developed program, you can run several virtual machines at the same time. Virtual Machines can be set-up in a few moments. Direct use of iso images of CDs or floppies is wonderful! You can download your new OS and start using it without burning a single CD.
Full support for all Windows versions and some Unix/Posix/Linux flavors. Incredible execution speed.
Support for networking is the best even found in programs like this.
Cons: Doesn't work with some Linux flavors (small distros ones) and Sun Solaris 10.

"wow simply amazing A must have app"
Pros: This app is very user friendly. Allows installation through virtual drives so you dont have to burn the isos. Very stable little cpu used. Being able to take a snapshot of the installation prevets data loss in case of error
Cons: well not compatible with all linux os. crashes when vm tools are installed may lag at points
