VIA HyperionPro drivers are suitable for any VIA chipset. There are two main differences between a VIA Hyperion 4in1 driver package and a VIA HyperionPro package: The HyperionPro package includes SATA/RAID drivers and supports 64-bit Microsoft Windows XP and 64-bit Windows Server 2003.
The latest release now supports 64-bit Windows Vista.

Pros
updated all drivers from ancient via and microsoft for via 8237 northbridge chipset, Perfect install, speed improvement, much better raid tool. Board is Soyo KT800 Dragon 2 Platinum.

Summary
Well the greatest advantage is to the Via 5237 SATA Raid, The New Advanced Controller is Far More advanced and the most user friendly i have ever used. Setup will also make your preinstall disk for New or Reformats of windows xp pro including full 64 bit support as well.

Good, i had no errors during installation, no compatibility issues either.

although having the latest version of the sofware is always good, this doesn´t represent any performance improvement on my pc.
