"VB in Easy Steps" is a new approach towards learning VB quickly, using real time short videos. These tutorials will help you to learn VB yourself and you will become confident in developing real world applications within a few hours. Brief Overview about Tutorials: There are totally six tutorials. A brief description about each tutorial is given below. Tutorial 1. In this tutorial, we will familiarize you with the Visual Base Environment. This tutorial will show you different methods to open a VB project, various wizards, adding/deleting projects to/from a VB Solution Explorer, adding/ deleting controls to/from a project etc. The tutorial will also familiarize you with Visual Source Safe (VSS) version controlling system. Tutorial 2. In this tutorial, we will familiarize some of the basic Programming syntax and semantics of Visual Basic .NET. Tutorial 3. In this tutorial, we will familiarize some of the simple GUI projects like calculating inerest and displaying name and address. Tutorial 4. In this tutorial, Explains how a database is created using MS Acess and a Student Datbase Example shows how data are transwered to the database(Explains insertion, deletion and selection). And Illustrate how data are displayed on the MSFlexGrid control. A basic understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL) is assumed. Tutorial 5. In this tutorial, The previous Student Database Example is modified by adding one MDI Form and explained how reports are generated using DataEnvironment and DataReport. Tutorial 6.
