Ultra AutoCAD Tool is an ultra-fast utility program for AutoCAD drawing files. Features include: extract data from drawing files (CSV,XML,HTML) and import to a database or Excel workbook, create DXFs from DWGs, find and replace text, find and replace block attribute values, find and delete text objects, find and delete block attribute objects, find and delete block objects, set layer status (on/off/thawed/frozen), save drawings as older version, find and replace image paths, find and replace external reference paths, etc. Ultra AutoCAD Tool does not require AutoCAD to be installed on your machine and is compatible with all AutoCAD drawing versions.

What's new in this version: Version 3.0.2 added compatibility with the AutoCAD 2010 drawing file format.

    "Attribute Extraction works fine BUT"

    Version: Ultra AutoCAD Tool 2.4.135

    Pros

    The attribute extraction to an excel file seems to work very well. I want to extract attributes to automate cross referencing in functional block diagrams & would be able to do this using MS access.

    Cons

    I could not get find and replace attributes to work more than a couple of times in spite of spending hours trying lots of variations & reloading a couple of times.

    Summary

    I would love to use this as it is the best attribute extraction I have found but am reluctant to buy as I cannot get find & replace to work The audit log does not even get updated (it does on find & replace) (I have only tried the trial version but will not buy as other features not working.)
