This unsophisticated utility is far from being ultimate. In our testing, it let in numerous pop-ups, especially on the site for the French newspaper Le Monde. The utility does not have a blacklist, and you can't block pop-ups manually. Ultimate Popup Killer eats a fair amount of memory for such a simple tool. It also changes your browser home page, which is inconvenient at best. Despite the fact that it's free, most users would benefit by looking elsewhere for a pop-up blocker.Publisher's description

Summary: I hate this program so much, it makes me cry at night. If you have any intentions of downloading it, shoot your computer then yourself and save some time. It changes your homepage to some worthless search page, EVEN if you don't argee to the terms ... read more >>

Pros: Pros maybe if you figure swamping your machine with nothingness, somehow. Get yourself a free download of the new netscape, it wont let in a single popup

Summary: It changed my home page first. Then in IE, it wont let you click on a link that opens up in a new window - even when its not opening a popup. It did get some popups but overall, its annoying and a waste of time.
