Version: TweakVI Basic 1 build 1080
"Not bad but takes a lot of trial and error to figure out"
Pros: It does a lot of stuff, some of which I still don't understand. Plus, it starts automatically when my Vista starts up.
Cons: It's not exactly user-friendly. The only reason I continue to use it is because I haven't found another Vista tweaker that is free.

Version: TweakVI Basic 1 build 1080
Cons: Do not install this unless you know exactly what you are doing. After installing I couldn't access certain files and folders. I could not get them changed back. Had to uninstall and use system restore.

Version: TweakVI Basic 1 build 1080
"A nice idea, but not reliable like TweakUI"
Pros: It's got a decent interface, tho possibly a bit 'pretty'. The plug-ins system looks nice, you can pay to use extra plugins (and thus make extra changes).
Cons: I was trying to use it to change the system paths on vista. It successfully changes one of them (the 'Documents' folder), but not any others. The interface for making these changes involved about 3 extra, and un nessasary clicks which was a pain.
After deciding to give up changing the folders, I was dismayed to find that THE RESTORE SETTINGS FEATURE DID NOT WORK. It first warned me that I was restoring onto a different PC from that the backup was made on, and then had no effect at restoring my settings.
Very disapointed and glad I was not relying on the faulty software.
I'm on a fresh install of Vista Home Premium.
