After a long period, after you install and uninstall a number of applications, your Windows Registry will contain a large number of obsolete entries. This will significantly increase the Registry size and slow down your computer, because Windows will need more time to load, search, and read data from the Registry. To keep your computer at top performance, it is recommended you periodically clean your Windows Registry.

Two main problems with this software.
1. Their own advertising says that their Pro version finds 900% more problems. (Or, to put it another way, the free version is going to miss 90% of the problems.) Sheesh -- I know it's free, but crippling it's capabilities by 90% makes it useless!
2. First time I used it, it found only two problems. (I guess that means that the Pro version would find only 18!) I expected many more, so I ran a competitive product (WinASO Registry Optimizer) and it discovered a more reasonable 274.
Bottom line, the free version is totally worthless--even for free. And, the Pro version wouldn't be much of a bargain even if they gave away that version!

Easy to use. Clearly shows results in 3 groups; safe to delete, unsafe to delete and status unknow. Great if you hate your reg and the thought sets your knees knocking. Contary to some other user reviews - I have XP service pk 2 - and it works fab. No bugs. No malware.
Cons
None that I've noticed. Recommend this one. Nice clean download.

"Doesn't work"

Pros
It loaded and setup. Opened all the registry files. If you're a computer whiz you can manually go through each reg. line by line and edit by opening MS regedit.
Cons
I didn't like anything about this registry editor. It was as helpful as a paperweight. My registry files may be so corrupted as to keep this program from running when it loaded? But isn't that what a registry cleaner is supposed to overcome? I don't fault the program as others have gave it praise.

Doesn't correct all the errors lots of other reg cleaners detect more errors.
after the first scan u won't find another error again.

Microsoft really should have included _some kind_ of registry cleaner with WinXP.
If you work with your computer every day, you will end up with a registry very very large - and this will slow your computer down a little bit. This tools makes the registry a little bit cleaner.
Cons
The computer will not run much faster after TweakNow.. Well, probably not faster at all - but it feels very good to have a clean registry!
