The registry is a heart and soul of any Windows system. It contains information that controls how your Windows appears and how it behaves. Most applications today use registry to store configuration and other important data. When you install an application, a new registry entry will be created. This entry will automatically be deleted when you uninstall the application. Unfortunately, it is not always work that way. Sometimes, you will find that some applications fail to remove their own registry entries. This entry will become obsolete. After a long period, after installing and uninstalling a lot number of applications, your Windows registry will contain a large number of obsolete entries. This will significantly increase the registry size and thus will slowdown your computer, because Windows will need more time to load, search, and read data from registry. To keep your computer in top performance, it is recommended to periodically clean your Windows registry.

Version 3.0.1 includes support for Adobe Reader 8, DivX Player, and QuickTime Player in the Track Cleaner module.

  "It Works Great & You Can Get It Free"

  Pros: It's the best free software out there. It finds the registry items that don't belong and optimizes my XP. And you CAN get it free. I downloaded the Standard version and on the splash screen there is a link to get PRO free via TrialPay. You try something and you get the PRO for free within 5 minutes!! I did Stamps.com. You register, check your e-mail for the TweakNow Pro install link and then cancel your subscription to Stamps.com. No cost to your credit card because you cancel it before the 4 week trial period.

  "The best registry cleaner!"

  Pros: I've used CCleaner and RegSeeker (or at least i think i did use regseeker) and after running those two programs and deleting all the invalid registry entries, TweakNow! RegCleaner Pro found 600+ safe, invalid registry entries! Awesome program.

  "Good on xp Pro But Not ON Xp Home"

  Pros: Nice program been using it for long time now

  Mainly on XP Pro machines but here the other day i tried it on XP Home edition and It was messing up my usb ports. USB Mouse not reconiced. NOT PATCH or fix to find.

  Lucky for me i had backup.

  Cons: Don't Run This Program On WINDOWS XP HOME

  UNLESS YOU HAVE A BACK UP BEFORE YOU START.

  Don't forget to check your usb after you run it

  "Very Good Registry cleaner"

  Pros: Detects errors in registry and says how safe they are.It's fast(if your registry is defragmented).Also you can defragment your registry and boos your computer's performance.Great app.Better than registry cleancer
