• Sneaky Malware!

  I can find nothing good about this sneaky garbage.

  Cons

  I am careful about where I browse and especially what I download. This junk installed itself without my knowledge or permission when I went to google.com and clicked on the ookla speedtest, as I had just installed a new cable modem and wanted to try and check its performance. ( that's how it got on my pc, as best as I can figure out, going by the day and time it appeared).

  Summary

  I only became aware of it when it sent up a false warning popup that there was a problem with the "registry" in my "Edge" browser on my pc with Windows 10 Pro x64. I immediately went and uninstalled it when I found it in my programs list, then I did a full scan with Malwarebytes to remove what was still remaining. This kind of sneaky sh** pisses me off to no end.

• Loads computer with crapware and doesn't work

  Pros

  Removed about a dozen out-of-date registry entries but not the one causing problems (expired Microsoft installer file.msi security certificate).

  Cons

  Installed smiley crapware, changed default searches and installed Funmoods Toolbar in all three web browsers (Internet Explorer 9, Firefox and Google Chrome). Took me several hours to uninstall them all, clean and restore normal operation.

  Summary

  CNET review from 2008 needs to be updated because the 2012 version of this program is rubbish; seek something better!

  I really did not get to try it? but I look forward to using it soon I want to have the time to learn it well. and I have looked at 'Cnet downloads' reviews and I think it will speed up my computers registry? keep your fingers crossed or give it a try...I's like squeesing fruit check it out the amount of downloads,radings from customers and editore which is large and very up to date. ? and free

  The negative aspect is not having used TweekNow RegCleaner 2011. No, is not them but me I have had a lot of traveling lately, But if I do I'm sure letting then know would allow them to fix what ever? Man, would'nt that be a useful tool !!

• Free Utility that seemed to work

  I'm not an expert on the subject of the Registry so consider that when reading this review. Program installed and ran without a hitch on my Windows XP SP3 and Windows 7 machines. Hard to tell if it made much a difference.

• Does everything Toniarts easyclean used to and more

  Pros

  This is one of the simpliest ways to keep your computer running smoothly. The interface is easy to use and the program runs fast and clean. What an improvement from their earlier version.

  Summary

  Toniarts easyclean was my go to program to keep my registry clean as well as optimize my system. It won't run with Windows7 (which I now have) so I tried Tweaknow's new version and it's terrific. I doubt if money can buy a better way to clean up the mess on your hard drive and keep it running well. I'm extremely satisfied. Remember, it's always good to have more than one program watching over your machine, (I run Avast AND Norton) since some programs pick up things that others may miss (I used to run tweaknow AFTER I cleaned the registry with easycleaner, and it always found something easycleaner missed), but Tweaknow is now my first action when I do my weekly cleanup on my hard drive. Highly reccomended.
