Built on the strength of the famous TMPGEnc video encoder series widely used since 1998, Tsunami MPEG Video Encoder XPress is a video-encoding tool that allows you to efficiently produce high-quality movie clips for easier use and storage. Once you convert and compress your video, you can export it to be viewed on desktop and laptop computers, as well as on PVPs, PDAs, and DVD players (separate authoring software is required). Convert a wide array of file formats, including videos in MPEG-1/2, DVD-Video VOB, Windows Media Video, AVI, QuickTime, as well as Windows Media Center Edition, which you can use to import TV programs you recorded and convert them for DVD creation. Output files to MPEG-1/2, WMV, or the highly efficient XDVD format for storage of up to 24 hours of movies on a single, dual-layer DVD disc. The program comes with Dolby Digital AC-3 support.

"XPress is awesome!"

Pros: The interface is clear, intuitive and allows to deeply customize how the file is encoded. The encoder is also pretty fast and the results are great!
