Features include: various polyhedron primitives as starting points. Powerful point editing, smoothing, sweeping, and deformation tools for primitive manipulation. Amazing metaballs object and plastiform tools to create complex organic shapes through interactive blending. Support for multiple spot, local, and infinite lights. A full physics simulation engine and inverse kinematics for jointed articulation. There are also libraries of flexible materials and textures with full UV mapping control, 3D paint, and decals. A large percentage of everything can be animated and full editing control of animation is provided through a keyframe editor. A large number of file format import options and a variety of export formats add to the flexibility and compatability with other programs. Output formats include a variety of options for rendered stills, animation, or VRML. A very active support community is available for support and interaction. Large selections of 3rd party plug-ins are waiting to provide extra capabilities.
