Version: TrueSafe 1.10
Pros: I?ve tried a lot of backup programs. They all had one problem or another. I?ve been using Truesafe for over a month and find it to be rock solid reliable.
Its the only backup software I?ve ever seen where you can back up your stuff over the internet to someone else?s pc (not some online storage place, but someone you know). You need broadband for this to be practicl, but who doesn?t have that nowadays? I installed the software on my pc and then got my brother (who lives 900 miles away from me) to install it on his home computer. I back up my files to his computer once a week and he backs up all his files onto mine. We set it up to wake our machines automatically at 2 am and then do the backups.
Other Pros:
Quick and easy installation and setup. Took me like 5 minutes.
Backup to another pc over the internet.
Can backup to a usb drive too.
Runs automatically
Easy file restore
You can still use your computer while it?s running (it doesn?t freeze your machine)
Cons: Cons:
No Mac support
