Version: TrilogyEC Professional Edition 1.3
"Seamlessy encrypts and sends in really fast, efficient, secure manner"
Pros: -The Encryption is unbeatable! Theres an Ultra-Secure field that users must use a pre-shared key to communicate!
-No Server, NO MIDDLEMAN! just look up your ip address from
whatismyip dot com (or by using 'ipconfig /all' in command prompt for lan users).
-The no b.s. interface is clean and simple. File transfer is secure and securely limited to 50mb which in no instance constitues a problem for an advanced user that doesn't mean spliting files up if it means I can deliver secure p2p file transfer.
-Did I mention the no ads or reminders to try a pro version? this is a clean clean program that I adore with an 8MB ram footprint in XP. A+ on the clean efficient coding. Too many developers get sloppy and just don't write clean code, but not TSI.
I'm still waiting to try the version off of their site that you can install into a jump drive with a very small registry footprint that is designed to be a portable connector. That's promising because they have a version just for that.
This program isn't intended to be a popular instant messenger or a bold p2p. If your concern is keeping any form of data completely and 100% secure than this program is perfect.
Cons: One small note here. By default its designed to auto accept friend requests and file transfers without so much as a prompt. This can be adjusted to ask before accepting anything and I would advise you to turn this around immediately in the preferences for security vulnerability. n00bs could get potentially get hijacked if a virus was sent through. Perhaps in a new version they incorporate an interface with common av software like avg or f-prot. Just constructive Critism that will hopefully encourage the authors to keep up the good work because this product is wonderful!

"It did not connect my computer at home with the one in the office"
Pros: Fast installation, but a component failed to install an OCX
Cons: Did not work, try TEAMVIEWER, it works from your office network to your house
