Publisher's description of Trees
From Ed's Website:Two players compete to build the tallest tree. Players must invest resources gained from the wind, rain and sun wisely, to build their tree. As more stems, leaves and roots are grown, the tree's ability to extract water, sunlight and carbon dioxide from the elements is increased.
The winner is the first player to bear 12 pieces of fruit - the most expensive item to produce. (A devious tactic for the underhand is to attempt to block your opponent by growing right round them.) Good clean, educational fun.

Version: Trees 2.01
"If was scientifically accurate could be of value to kids but not fun in itself"
Cons: Didn't seem to give me a lot of choices. Seemed to click 'roll' most of the time and occasionally got to choose how the tree grew.
I didnt understand about the wind and rain. I this what decides what you can choose to stick onto the tree?
Graphics are ok. Could be nicer
If going to similate growing a plant should be more scientific so that it has educational value and gives value to children since the game itself isn't action packed. Maybe a mention of chlorphyll, nitrogen, O2 etc.

Version: Trees 2.01
"A decent game for when you're bored"
Pros: A decent game for when you've got nothing better to do, Quite easy to get the hang of, nice simple graphics, and easy to play.
Cons: Takes too long for the dice to roll each turn which means that your 30 minute trial doesn't really seem long enough.
