From Scientific Toolworks :TrackTools is composed of two separate products, TrackBack and TrackDiff. TrackBack is a new kind of personal change management tool that saves hours, even days, of lost productivity for anyone working on source code files. Centralized CM systems like CVS provide protection only once a version has been "checked in". With TrackBack, you have your own personal change management system. It works in the background to monitor the specific directories and files you select, and creates backup versions according to your parameters. TrackBack allows you to quickly compare original source files with the ones that have been changed and backed up. Differences displayed in the comparison can be viewed individually and moved, or restored, to the source file. TrackDiff is a file and folder diffing tool that allows you to compare and manage differences through an easy and intuitive interface.
