Though perhaps not a total video solution, Total Video Converter does support a wealth of audio and video formats, including 3GP, PSP, AVI, MOV, and SWF. On top of that, it can rip DVDs and cut movies into smaller, more manageable fragments. In our testing, we appreciated the program's conversion speed and quality. Total Video Converter is well-suited for batch conversion. We found the interface straightforward, with one minor exception: the cumbersome Select Format dialog. Unfortunately, none of these features come for free: in addition to the 15-day restriction, the trial version stamps movies with a registration reminder. The $45.95 registration fee may make your jaw drop, too. Though it's not exactly a bargain, Total Video Converter is much more complete and competent than most of its competitors. If price is no object, it's definitely worth a look.

Version: Total Video Converter 3.14
"Faster and Better than Vedora IPOD converter"
Pros: Interface is great, easy to navigate and there's an advance setting for those of us who are more familiar with video converter tools. Doesn't have any annoying pop-ups. 45 min video (350mb) reduced to (210mb) IPOD mpeg4 in 18 minutes. Looks amazing!
Cons: none. Haven't experience any problems that other reviewers have had. Audio didn't skip with the video.
Summary: Excellent product for converting xvid/divx/etc videos into portable media.

Version: Total Video Converter 3.14

Cons: None, it is easy to use.
Summary: A truly great program, considering it is free.

Version: Total Video Converter 3.14
Pros: Converts everything you could imagine
Cons: Poor instructions. Cannot burn to DVD as keep getting error. Sometimes converting flv to ipod sound doesnt match up with video.
Summary: If they could expand the instructions and make the dvd burn function work I would be thrilled. As far as for ipod conversions though, I'm happier with videora ipod converter.

Version: Total Video Converter 3.14
"One of the best converters out there."
Pros: This handy program has converted everything I have thrown at it, even HD .avi files. Creates a beautiful picture from HD Xvid to mpeg2 and sound is always synced right on. Very fast too. I own version 3.12.
Cons: If you try to change some of the advanced settings the program will crash or just shut down. I would suspect that I need to use the Windows codec and not TVC's. And sometimes there is a problem with its internal burner doing the same thing,
Summary: Good program, it is fast, probably one of the better converters out there. I have tried a bunch of them and this one probably is my second favorite behind Nero Recode.

Cons: audio does not align with picture
Summary: I have tried this many times and the audio doesn't align with the picture. Very annoying. Doesn't anyone else have the same problem?
