From High Criteria :Total Recorder can record any sound that your sound card plays, without losing quality. Use Total Recorder to record music played by virtually any sound playback program in the world. With this update, it is now possible to convert different sound formats to WAV format, record from any sound card input line (CD, cassette player), and record Internet telephony conversations (even full duplex). In addition, there is now a built-in scheduler for future recordings and playbacks. In the trial version, recordings are limited to 40 seconds each. The cost for registration is $11.95.
