Total Audio Converter offers all of the features, performance, and speed you'd need from an audio converter. It's one of the most complete conversion programs you can find and is a steal at its low price.
The free version of the program only lets you convert up to two thirds of the track, so you'll have to pay if you want the whole thing. The program doesn't support every format under the sun, but all of the most popular formats are here, such as MP3, MP4, WAV, FLAC, WMA, etc. Each one has its own button, so you can easily find it and start the converting process. Total Audio Converter only takes a few seconds for each minute of your track. Before you start, you can change all sorts of info. about the file, like bit rate, compression, and more. You can even trim parts of the song to get the exact section you want. The program's hierarchical menu directly mirrors your Windows Explorer menu, so you'll have no trouble finding files. Total Audio Converter even sports a built-in CD Ripper and YouTube downloader, so you have more ways to get music onto your computer.
Though you can find the similar feature set in some free downloads, it won't be nearly as well-executed as it is here. Total Audio Converter is as close to seamless as it gets in terms of file converters and definitely worth the price.

Version: Total Audio Converter 3.0
The programs are available if you can afford them. There are 30 different format conversions at $20 for each. They give you a 2/3 partial conversion for free to make sure that it is the right format, so you can figure out which one is correct for your need.
I have one old CD that is in CDA that I would like to transfer to MP3. I don't think it is worth $20 to buy the program. Does anyone have this format available for a lower price?

Version: Total Audio Converter 220.127.116.11
Friendly interface, command line option and integrated wizard together make it an easy cake. Besides, it is updated regularly and one innovation I've been craving for so long is midi support plus batch function so I can make a handful of midi tracks into mp3 in one go
It takes a bit longer to convert a group of files than I'd expected
