CNET Editors' review
This arcade racer brings you a few new tricks, but in the end gameplay is more frustrating than fun. After selecting a car by modification and color, you choose your track and start the race. You control your car from quite a distance in a third-person aerial perspective, and it's no easy feat. As you try to master the steering controls (oversteer, overcompensate, repeat), your car spends most of its time out of control. Still, there are some interesting competitive techniques to try in Championship mode. Pick up crystals for speed boosts or set traps, whether they're oil slicks or oncoming rockets, to send competitors careening off the track. Ultimately, Tiny Racer 2 probably has limited appeal given its clunky controls, though arcade devotees might want to test their keyboard conditioning here.Publisher's Description
