Version: Tim's Keylogger 1
"Stealth Mode Not Very Stealthy"
Pros: Installs easily, starts up without splash screens or other indications it's running. No taskbar icon, but it is listed in Processes if users know to look there. But, there's a major problem - see below
Cons: The program does not save the log file unless you save it manually! You have to launch the log window (ctrl-alt-s is the default key sequence) and click "Save Log" to save the file. If the user attempts to log off or shut the computer down, this "hidden" program pops up a "Save the Log File?" dialog box, alerting most users that something's up. If they choose "No" in this dialog box, the whole session log vanishes. I realise the program's free and all, but this problem makes it pretty useless for hidden keylogging. Why have a stealth mode at all then?
