From TIFNY :Tifny is an image browser for use with Usenet newsgroups.It includes downloading features like support for all file types and text messages, a Preview mode that lets you download only the headers you choose, and newsgroup and author limits (by search) so that you can easily discover the diversity in Usenet's multimedia. It also includes a new file checksum filter to catch duplicate files even if the person posting uses a different name. New interactive database views update in real time and let you slice and dice your data from every angle, making on- and offline browsing easier and more fun. A newly designed status bar gives you up-to-date information on disk and database space, search status, database activities, file types being downloaded, and more.
