From TIFNY :Tifny is an automated interface for the Usenet newsgroups and a thumbnail picture gallery all in one. It lets you download images, text messages, and other file formats, including MP3s, from hundreds of newsgroups. You can view the downloaded files as thumbnails or as full-size images by directory, just like you would with a traditional viewer, or you can sort them by newsgroup, author, organization, date, width, height, size, or other custom selection. You can even add your own pictures to the collection. Tifny lets you filter by author, organization, newsgroup, file series, file type, and keyword as well as by the number of newsgroups to which the article was posted and the size of the file. It also avoids redundant searching and duplicate downloading, saving you time and bandwidth. The newest release features a built-in MP3 player with jukebox, a video player, new bug fixes, new image editing functions, and a Web browser. This program is no longer shareware but is free!
