ThumbsPlus simplifies the process of finding and maintaining graphics, clip art files, fonts, and animations. It displays a small image, or thumbnail, of each file. You can use ThumbsPlus to browse, view, edit, and crop images, as well as launch external editors and copy images to the clipboard. You can drag and drop graphics files to the appropriate directories, create a slide show from selected graphics and install bitmap files as Windows wallpaper. The program can support a variety of file formats, including Kodak DCS (DCS) and DC120 (KDC), Microsoft Image Composer (MIC), PNG, Silicon Graphics (RGB), SeattleFilmworks (SFW), and Minolta RD-175 (MDC). Many DDE commands let you control ThumbsPlus from other programs. You can also add icons to the toolbar to launch external programs. Several improvements to image and catalog printing have been made.
