Theft Aware provides data protection and theft recovery for Smartphones. It enables you to control and find your device in the event of loss or theft. To enable communication to your phone you will register up to two notification numbers with Theft Aware (friends of yours, or your second phone). Those friends will then receive all Theft Aware messages for you. Now, if the thief changes the SIM card of the phone, Theft Aware will invisibly send the phone number of the thief to those recipient numbers.
What's new in this version: Version 1.5 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

- completely invisible to the thief
- if the thief changes simcard you get his phone number! it's sent to a number u specify before.
- get GPS location data of the phone
- retrieve contacts and sms
- GREAT to spy on girlfriend - but not allowed :-)Cons
- Trial is free - but full Version costs money (just once - no monthly fee)
Summary

- SMS Commands are received by the phone in silent mode - the thief wont get suspicious.

- Get the current GPS location of your phone if available
- Get online map services links to Google Maps, Yahoo! Maps or Microsoft Bing Maps
- Lock the phone
- Support for emergency calls during lock mode, thus no violations of basic phone type approvals
- Activate a loud siren, customize the siren sound
- Wipe the phone and erase all private data stored on it
- Backup all your contacts to another phone
- Backup SMS that are important to you to another phone
- Let the phone call you back (the stolen phone calls you on sms command and you can hear what happens on the other side :-)
- Implement your own SMS commands
