A compact option for surfing the Net, TheWorld Browser is a worthy opponent against the big-name browsers. While it touts its likeness to Internet Explorer as a multithread frame browser, this download takes on the appearance of Firefox--minus the fun skins.
With tabbed browsing and a favorites toolbar, jumping from site to site is a breeze. The toolbar option to launch the sidebar conveniently places your entire favorites list, history, downloads, and My Computer folder into view. TheWorld Browser also has clever, effective tool options for pop-up and ad blocking, proxy swapping, and tracks cleaning, and built-in mouse gestures to move around pages more smoothly.
Although there aren't a lot of added features to set it apart from other popular browsers, it certainly holds its own. TheWorld Browser is a great alternative for free, user-friendly Web browsing.

Pros: Does the job.
Cons: Freezes too many times.
Summary: Would use in an emergency but not as main browser - doesn't hold the big sites, freezes.

Pros: I like that everything seems to be placed in the right spots on the toolbars and the overall look is good.
Cons: It reminds me of an Internet Explorer clone with very little additional to offer above what IE has. I would prefer IE because of this.
Summary: I like Maxthon 2 better because it's like IE but with Firefox's customization ability and it has more features than this.
