This primitive platformer game costs you nothing, proving that sometimes, you get what you pay for. In The Adventures of Evil Fred, you control a bouncy, Pac-Man-like creature who must navigate platforms while avoiding obstacles such as saw blades and spikes. After you pass a few levels, you can arm yourselves with ninja stars so you can blast obstacles away instead. This game's graphics and sound effects are as low budget as can be, and it doesn't have a single customization option; you can't even turn down or disable the audio. Nor did we find The Adventures of Evil Fred very challenging or engaging to play. Small children might find this freebie a good starter video game, but everyone else will probably find that the fun vanishes pretty fast.Publisher's description
From Xtreme Prodigy Games :This is a demo of the upcoming game The Adventures of Evil Fred from Xtreme Prodigy Games. This is a very fun and addicting platform game with saws, lasers, spikes, and fire. And best of all you get to play as an evil smiley face with horns.
CNET Editor's Note: The demo features eight levels per world and three worlds, one hidden minigame, and a boss. The final version will have 25 levels per world, three worlds, three bosses, a castle, a final boss, and two 3D-animated video clips.
