From SAFCo Software :Instantly blasts a text message (SMS) to one or multiple cell phones from your desktop using the Internet. No cell phone required. It is not necessary to know what the recipients cell phone carriers are. Unlike other programs which route your messages through their central server, this program sends the messages straight to the recipient so it has greater reliability, quicker delivery time, and is confidential. It has its own address book for ease of use. It supports most major US carriers. There are no additional fees to send messages.

Version: TextMessagePlus 3
Pros: It was very simple to set up. It is completely free. You can send out a text to multiple people at one time.
Cons: It tries sending the text to multiple carriers, so you will receive emails where the text failed from the carriers not associated with the recipients cell number. But it is worth it!

"Couldn't get it working at all"
Pros: I spent almost two hours downloading and installing this program (twice) and it I couldn't get it to work at all. All I got was the window saying it had encountered an error and needed to close.
Cons: I allowed it to change a lot of settings about changing drivers and net framework and such, and I sure hope I didn't mess everything up.
