From NextUp :TextAloud MP3 converts text into spoken words and stores the result as MP3 files. The program resides in your Windows tray, always ready to read text aloud from your e-mail, Web pages, and documents. You can listen immediately, or save the document as a WAV or MP3 file that you can listen to at your convenience. Listen to e-mail, online news, or important documents while you exercise, work, or commute. TextAloud supports additional speech engines for other languages. It includes support for TXT files of unlimited size, so you can read large e-books as one article. It allows you to create 10 minutes of spoken audio in only 12 seconds.
The download program file initially comes with one voice, Mary, a female speaking American English. Several additional English voices and other languages are available for free download. TextAloud MP3 now supports a total of 27 voices and seven languages.
