Tess is an educational math application for the Mac. With Tess, you can quickly create attractive symmetric planar illustrations. While you draw, Tess will automatically maintain the symmetry group you have chosen; 11 rosette, all 7 frieze, and all 17 wallpaper groups are included.

What's new in this version:

  • A German interface is now available; the translation was performed by Daniel Schaerer
  • SVG export is now available. (We would recommend using Batik to view the SVG output; the current Adobe SVG browser plug-in has some issues with patterned fills and also with elliptical arcs.)
