Pros
An excellent software to remote, share desktop and cooperate. Two users can work simultaneously on the same desktop.
When the computer connects to the internet through a router and with a dynamic IP, this soft is a wonderful substitute for Windows remote desktop.
Cons
I hope the ID will be settable rather than a provided number which is difficult to remember.

"OUTSTANDING Product AND FREE"

Pros
It is so easy to use and install. All you do is download a VERY small program (your contact does the same) and enter in the ID and Password of the contact. THATS IT!!! in seconds you see the contacts screen, can help with their computer problems and even download programs from the internet onto their computer. I helped my sister (who is computer illeterate) with her problems, changed her settings, dowmloaded some cleaning problems and increased her CPU performance by 30%. I STRONGLY recommend this software!!

NOTHING!!! I am always scared about downloading free programs from the internet but this one is excellent!! :)

I'm a new user, and just finished downloading and testing the software...I'm really impressed! Being for free, I expected a simple/basic utility with not many features, but I was surprised with all its capabilities. In addition, its speed performance is amazing as well. I definitely recommend it!
Cons
There is nothing negative about this software that I've noticed so far.

Pros
Good program. Not as intuitive as you might expect. Works by stablishing sessions with a number. I think it should be the computer name. The other program selection I dislike is that by default the file sharing is allowed only by permission on user intervention on the remote computer. It should be by password. However you can allow all file transfer requests which makes me a bit unconfortable.
To sum up the program works well. It's free with a nag screen at the end of every session. I rate the intuitive GUI at 80%. Overall is a nice program once you lear it's quirks.

The TeamViewer. A small program (0.99 MB-3.0 beta ver.) Making so BIG job. " A masterpiece of software" a must for remote support/control. I use a lot of my time trying the latest of software. My friends contact me when they have a problem with the computer. I do remote support 5-10 times a week. Normally I've been using win remote assistance - working with 2000/XP/Vista. And many times i have problems. My connection is FAST , but many of the people i help has a slow connection. TeamViewer Updates the screen close to real-time (if the speed is 256 kbs upload for the remote client). Win own is SLOW! Like from 1994 ! Here is some instruction to install and use the software in 2 min. Make sure you put in a password that is predefined ! Under Extras/Options/general - mark (x) "start with windows", when the Pc reboots you are inside again! Extras/Options/Remote Control (x) "Optimize speed". Extras/Options/presentation (x) "Optimize speed". Extras/Options/security/access control (x) Enable "incoming Connections" (x) "Partner may block" (x) "Allow input from" (x) "file transfers" "always". And remember predefined password. And the amazing is under Extras/Options/Custom invitation where you make a pre defined email. Just click and send an email and you friend gets a link for downl. The software. I have cleaned many pc for viruses, register change, complicated software install, driver install (also graphic cards!!). Formatting of extra HD. You name it - I've done it. Used the non Beta ver. before but new Beta is Great ! I've transfer files from/to my pc - (And remote file storage on an old pc) ;-) Its like I'm sitting in front of the Pc I'm helping. (Beside the time difference). This can seems like an an sale commercial from TeamViewer All is Positive ! (And believe me - if i did go back to the pc industries i would love to sell this software) ;-) - But this is only one Happy satisfied user review. Best regards stein.aune@hotmail.com.

The only negative is:
1: You should be able to remote control several pc's at the same time. (Pro user demand)
2. You should be able to start any pc from power of ! (A dream).
